Marketing Director:
This high-end, designer cosmeceutical brand is looking for a strategic-minded, global marketing director to take the business from established start-up to a globally recognized skincare product. The company is already selling direct to the consumer and through major retail outlets across major cities globally. The role will work alongside the Commercial Director and report into the CEO.
The successful person must have experience in go-to-market strategy across geographical locations, experience of marketing direct to consumer as well as retail, experience with a high growth business in a beauty, luxury or comparable business, and be able to build a global team to help reach the vision of the brand. Must be strategically minded, robust in intellectual capability and have the drive to work for a scale-up brand. Experience creating and managing budgets is required, and the mentality of keeping costs low whilst delivering strong growth across all channels.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute 360 global marketing campaigns across all markets and marketing operations.
- Implement the brand vision, mission, goals, and strategies to support the brand within the UK and global market.
- Assist in the development of localized brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Proven broad leadership across Product, Digital, Trade Marketing, Creative, and Brand Communication.
- Establishing & managing above-the-line and below-the-line marketing campaigns with a strong focus on digital marketing.
- Strong digital acumen, with a solid working knowledge of digital media including Paid Social, PPC, Display amongst other digital channels.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively results of any analysis done.
- High levels of attention to detail and ability to fully follow through on project delivery KPIs.
- Supporting product launches, you will guide the brand through launches and distribution expansion. Ensuring ROI is always a high priority.
- In partnership with the commercial team, drive in-store activities and events to support the sales team. Develop creative and brand relevant proposals that will drive commercial results and raise brand awareness.
- Responsible for hiring and building a marketing team across all marketing channels.
- Experience managing external partners as required and sourcing relevant agency/freelance support to deliver against goals.
Experience:
- 5+ years experience at Head of Marketing level or similar, with retail and e-commerce.
- Experience in fast growth business taking it from start-up to global brand.
