Schedule: Part or Full Time position available (3 to 5 patient days)
Salary: Starting salary based on Experience. Earning potential with Results Based Incentive up to $600k.
What you'll do:
- Evaluate and treat patients with all types of skin disorders, lesions, biopsies, wound care, skin rashes/allergies, and suture removal.
- Perform basic cosmetic procedures including injectables, microneedling and lasers.
- Adhere to and support the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Skin Dermatology.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and provide dermatology care and procedures, along with cosmetic dermatology.
- Perform skin examinations to diagnose and treat skin conditions.
- Perform procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, electrodesiccation and curettage (ED&C).
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as applicable to dermatology.
- Provide surgical procedures such as the excision of skin cancer lesions with appropriate margins and utilization of various techniques for wound repair, including primary closure.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Perform dermatology procedures within your passion and scope of practice.
- Perform utilization review and utilization management to ensure appropriate use of healthcare resources.
- Work autonomously.
- Assist in all areas of practice operation as requested.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Dermatology.
- Valid medical license to practice in Massachusetts.
- 2+ years of experience in Medical Dermatology preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in Cosmetic Dermatology preferred.
- Plastic Surgeon, Surgical, Mohs and/or Medical Spa experience is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills essential.
