Responsibilities
- Copywriting & Brand Voice
- Create on‑brand copy across digital and print marketing assets, including emails, campaigns, website content, and social media.
- Write and optimise product pages, landing pages, and blog content with SEO best practices in mind.
- Act as a brand guardian across all written touchpoints, ensuring tone, accuracy, and consistency.
- Review, edit, and approve customer‑facing copy to ensure it is grammatically correct, compliant, and on‑brand.
- Support the ongoing development of Skin Cupid’s tone of voice and written brand guidelines.
- Community & Social
- Support day‑to‑day social media content creation, including captions, comments, and community‑led posts.
- Engage with the Skin Cupid community across social platforms in a warm, informed, and brand‑appropriate way.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen community connection through conversation, education, and timely cultural moments.
- Monitor social and beauty trends, feeding insights and ideas back into content and campaign planning.
- Marketing Support & Campaigns
- Support wider marketing initiatives and campaigns from concept through to execution.
- Provide copy support for ad‑hoc business needs, including brand partner decks, B2B communications, and internal marketing materials.
- Contribute to creative ideation for launches, promotions, and special projects.
We’re Looking For
- A portfolio or PDF of relevant writing or content work (required).
- 1–2 years’ experience in marketing, copywriting, or content, ideally within beauty, retail, fashion, or lifestyle.
- Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to grammar, tone, and detail.
- A solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and experience writing optimised content.
- Interest or experience in community management and social media.
- Understanding of UK marketing and advertising regulations, particularly around promotional and claims‑led copy.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Commercially minded, creative, and eager to grow within a fast‑paced marketing team.
- Genuine interest in beauty and skincare; experience writing skincare content is a plus.
- A degree or relevant qualification is preferred but not essential.
