As Assistant Marketing Manager at Skin Cupid, you will take on a pivotal role in shaping and executing our marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, this is a decision-making role with high accountability, combining campaign ownership with leadership responsibilities and external brand partner management.
You will oversee multi-channel campaigns end-to-end, support and guide junior members of the marketing team, and act as a key point of contact for our partner brands — ensuring they are kept informed, aligned, and engaged with campaign activity. This role is suited to someone with a strong marketing background who is ready to step into tea.
Key Responsibilities- Campaign Management & Delivery
- Own the planning and execution of 360 campaigns across email, social media, paid advertising, website, in-store touchpoints, and brand activations.
- Develop campaign briefs, timelines, and deliverables that align with business goals and product launches.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver cohesive storytelling and consistent brand messaging.
- Monitor performance to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brand, and to a high standard.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Provide day-to-day guidance to junior team members, supporting their growth and workload management.
- Review and approve work, ensuring outputs meet quality and brand standards.
- Help improve team processes, contributing to efficiency and best practice.
- Foster a collaborative and motivated team culture.
- Brand Partner Communication
- Act as a key point of contact for brand partners, keeping them updated on campaign plans, progress, and results.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports to partners, demonstrating ROI and campaign impact.
- Collaborate with brands to align campaign activity with their objectives, ensuring mutual value.
- Support brand relationship building by providing clear communication and reliable delivery.
- Creative Development & Content
- Oversee the creation of campaign assets across digital and offline channels.
- Write and edit engaging copy for ads, emails, product pages, and social posts, ensuring copy is accurate, engaging, and optimised for conversion.
- Be hands-on with Canva and other creative tools to produce assets when needed.
- Ensure consistency of brand tone, messaging, and visual identity.
- Email Marketing
- Lead the execution of campaign emails from planning to scheduling.
- Create high-performing content that drives engagement and conversion.
- Implement testing and optimisation strategies to improve performance.
- Performance & Reporting
- Track KPIs and manage campaign dashboards.
- Deliver post-campaign analysis with actionable insights for future activity.
- Provide reporting both internally and externally to partners with clear recommendations.
- Apply learnings to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- 3-5+ years’ experience in marketing, with proven campaign management experience (beauty or consumer goods preferred).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Confident decision-maker who thrives on accountability and ownership.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members (or readiness to step into leadership).
- Skilled in Canva (or similar), with strong creative instincts and copywriting ability.
- Familiarity with email platforms such as Klaviyo.
- Comfortable analysing data, producing reports, and presenting insights to stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills for managing both internal stakeholders and external brand partners.
- Proactive, adaptable, and energised by working in a high-growth, fast-paced start-up.
