As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within the NHS sector (trusts, hospitals, ICBs, ICSs, etc). This role focuses on expanding the company\’s presence by developing strategic relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and driving revenue growth through new partnerships in the NHS.

Key Responsibilities

  1. New Business Development: Drive revenue by identifying and signing new NHS partners, prioritising opportunities that meet company objectives.
  2. Strategic Relationship Building: Develop and maintain high-value relationships with key industry stakeholders and work closely with senior leadership to align business development efforts with company goals.
  3. Market Expansion & Positioning: Proactively identify market trends and opportunities for expansion. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance visibility.
  4. Reporting & Insights: Track and analyse sales data and pipeline metrics to refine sales strategies, and provide updates on market trends, pipeline status, and revenue growth opportunities.
  5. Sales Process Management: Lead the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to contract signature, collaborating internally with the Product, Clinical, and Transformation Teams.
  6. Experience & Skills: Proven experience in an enterprise sales role (deal size Β£300K+) selling solutions into the NHS sector, with a strong sales methodology (e.g., Meddic, Meddpicc, Challenger, SPIN). Knowledge of CRM systems (preferably Hubspot). Data-driven approach, excellent negotiation, commercial, and problem-solving skills. Ability to apply strategic thinking and identify market opportunities to grow ARR. Effective collaboration with internal and external teams.
