Assistant Store Leader - Product and Operations

As an Assistant Store Leader, you will work closely with the Store Leader to ensure the store is operationally sound, business results are achieved, and exceptional customer service is provided consistently.

Responsibilities for Product + Operations

  • Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Maintain a clean and organized stockroom, handle shipments, and hold the team accountable for meeting productivity goals.
  • Manage inventory levels, oversee in‑store replenishment, and ensure size integrity on the sales floor; communicate sell‑through concerns with the Store Leader.
  • Properly manage damages, donations, returns, and product issues that could jeopardize inventory accuracy.
  • Effectively communicate and train store associates on operational standards, ensuring they implement brand standards consistently.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  • Oversee supply procurement, maintain correct supply levels, and manage the budget accordingly.
  • Maintain the upkeep of in‑store technology and communicate any updates with the team.
  • Assist in creating and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
  • Analyze sales data and reports to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain the visual merchandising standards of the store, ensuring products are displayed in an appealing and organized manner; plan new launches and use business insight and customer feedback to inform merchandising decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Store Leader and other team members to create a visually captivating store environment that showcases our product offerings and attracts customer attention.
  • Regularly update product displays and signage to reflect new arrivals, promotions, and seasonal changes, ensuring customers can easily find what they are looking for.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment and manage store fixturing and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and assist in replenishing merchandise as needed.
  • Communicate with partners to share assortment, allocation, and logistics feedback; share weekly/monthly product focuses and goals and provide the team with the actions needed to achieve the desired results.
  • Train store associates on visual merchandising techniques, ensuring they understand and implement our brand standards consistently.
  • Serve as the in‑store product expert, training team members on product knowledge, new launch information, and design inspiration.

Requirements
