Job description
When you are at the beginning of your career, as a graduate or with a few years’ experience, your focus is on learning and developing yourself into an insights professional with a focus on translating research and data into actionable recommendations for clients. Your objective is to achieve project management excellence and become a skilled, knowledgeable insights professional within that area. You are passionate about working with clients, and by doing so you are helping major consumer goods companies to optimize their portfolios, innovations, or brand communications. For example, you might help one client determine which innovations to launch and which existing products to keep, while you discuss with another how to best position and talk about the benefits of their offer.
You are expected to learn all the process steps of market research. This includes:
- Brainstorming solutions and writing proposals
- Setting up research projects (including questionnaire creation, programming and technical setup)
- Modelling and data analysis
- Giving and presenting actionable recommendations and strategies
- Working with clients from day one
You will be exposed to different aspects of research and insights, including analytics, methodologies, and client interaction. While everyone brings different strengths, this role is particularly suited for someone with a strong interest in analytical and quantitative work. You will be encouraged to build deep technical expertise and learn how different methodologies, including conjoint and modeling, are applied. At the same time, you will gradually develop confidence in working with internal stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a dedicated, smart, analytical and enthusiastic team player. Typically, we are looking for someone with the following profile:
- Relevant degree in Business, Marketing Management, Econometrics, Behavioral Economics, Psychology, Consumer Behavior, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics or other analytical and behavioral studies.
- We seek someone with 0-2 years of professional experience ranging from relevant internships to work experience. Note: having no professional experience is not a disadvantage.
- Numbers-savvy: With an eye for detail, you are passionate about working with numbers, and you are comfortable working with big datafiles in Excel and writing some code (or eager to learn).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Proactive attitude expressed in extracurricular activities.
- Internationally-minded.
- Ability to quickly adapt to a complex, dynamic environment.
Our offer
A salary and benefits package designed to support you in your role and reward your contributions, including:
- A fixed annual salary
- Structured salary growth tied to your annual performance review.
- Performance-based bonus
- Company pension scheme
- A hybrid working environment
- A flat organizational structure where everyone is treated as equal regardless of any differences
- A place where taking initiative isn’t just encouraged. It’s valued
- Good balance between work and personal life
