Skillspire is recruiting reliable and hardworking Summer Cleaners to support summer cleaning programmes within the education sector across Oxford to start on Monday 29th June. This temporary opportunity involves carrying out deep kitchen and classroom cleans during the summer holiday period, helping schools and educational facilities prepare for the new academic year.
The Role
As a Summer Cleaner, you will work as part of a team delivering high standards of cleaning and hygiene across educational settings, including schools, colleges, and other learning environments. Duties will include:
- Deep cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas.
- Carrying out intensive summer cleans of school kitchens and catering facilities.
- Cleaning floors, walls, furniture, and high-touch surfaces.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Sanitising kitchen equipment and food preparation areas.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely.
- Replenishing cleaning supplies where required.
- Following cleaning schedules and health and safety procedures.
- Supporting site teams in preparing facilities for the new academic year.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
- Experience within commercial, education, catering, or facilities cleaning is desirable.
