Global Knowledge is seeking an experienced Senior Instructor to represent Global Knowledge whilst delivering high quality education in accordance with vendor-specification, and to the quality standards documented in Global Knowledge's quality procedures.

As a Trainer/Instructor, you will have the opportunity to provide sales support where necessary, keep abreast of technology and industry changes and feedback delegate’s sales leads in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities:
  • Become qualified and authorized to deliver assigned training courses prior to first delivery, ensuring the appropriate vendor process is followed.
  • Deliver training courses as specified by the course vendor and in consultation with designated scheduling manager, as well as to the required quality standards as detailed in Global Knowledge’s quality procedures.
  • Adhere to vendor-specific requirements including but not limited to obtain / renew certificates and following required examination and invigilation guidelines.
  • Pursue agreed development plans and ensure that preparation time and team assessments are utilized to achieve these plans.
  • Attain the required standards in transfer of technical skills and delivery techniques.
  • Deliver courses at all Global Knowledge centers and customer sites when required.
  • Keep abreast of industry and vendor technology, exam and certification guidelines, distributing information to colleagues where applicable.
  • Provide sales support in the form of solutions design and customer visits.
  • Responsive to contact requests, information and customer enquiries.
  • Manage the classroom to optimize training experience.
  • Work closely with the designated scheduling manager to ensure that Trainer/Instructor utilization meets or exceeds the company requirements.
  • Represent the Global Knowledge values, demonstrating a can do and positive attitude at all times.
  • Establish, build and maintain positive relationships and communication channels with all operational team members.
  • When not on our platform delivering training, you will work with sales and product management, providing sales support and customer engagement, respond to all operational, sales and customer requests within allotted time-scale and attend, where necessary vendor Train the Trainers and be prepared to redeliver to all full time employee Trainer/Instructors as and when required.
  • Represent yourself and Global Knowledge at conference and CPD opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in training facilitation in corporate environments.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites locally and internationally to deliver face to face facilitated sessions.
  • Have a dedicated workspace at home to be able to deliver virtual classes for a proportion of your time.
  • Possess a commitment to keep up-to-date with IT trends and developments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective planning and organizational skills; project management skills; and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Fluent in the English language.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Practical experience of technical capabilities linked to accreditations.
  • Vendor certifications with significant experience in a similar role.
