Our Sales organization is responsible for driving regional revenue growth, expanding customer relationships, and delivering Skillsoft’s full value proposition across the UK market. The team partners closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to support customer transformation initiatives. As Sales Director UK, you will strengthen our leadership bench, elevate sales performance, and help shape a modern, customer‑centric go‑to‑market strategy.

As a Sales Director UK, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high‑performing sales team across new business acquisition, account management, or a hybrid model. You will have the opportunity to drive strategic execution, optimise territory performance, and accelerate customer value by building trusted, consultative relationships with enterprise organisations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of acquisition, account management, or hybrid sellers to consistently exceed revenue and quota expectations.
  • Manage regional pipeline health, ensuring 5Ă— coverage for new business and 3Ă— for existing customers, while providing strategic guidance on complex deal cycles.
  • Work with cross‑functional partners—Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Sales Operations—to deliver customer outcomes and align regional execution.
  • Identify territory opportunities and implement effective go‑to‑market strategies to drive growth, renewals, and gross margin improvement.
  • Recommend sales process enhancements, enablement needs, and resource allocation to maximise productivity and ROI.
  • Use in‑depth knowledge of Skillsoft’s technology, products, and services to act as a trusted advisor during customer digital transformation journeys.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive shifts, and market dynamics to proactively address customer challenges and sector demands.

  • Proven success shaping and executing regional sales strategies with commercial rigor.
  • Ability to lead through change, simplify complexity, and drive consistent execution in a matrix environment.

Location: UK‑based. Travel: As required for customer and team engagements.

Desirable Requirements
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience in corporate learning, digital transformation, enterprise SaaS, or education sector sales.
