Cygnet Health Care are looking for a confident Bank Maintenance Operative with a passion for delivering outstanding service. You will have the opportunity to work bank shifts, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in their care at Cygnet Hospital Bierley. Duration of work contract is 12 months.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks, including basic joinery, plumbing, painting and building work.
- Keep plant, equipment, services and vehicles in good working order, reporting faults and potential hazards promptly.
- Follow safe working practices, complete regular fire safety checks and ensure alarms, exits and emergency equipment function correctly.
- Travel to other sites as needed and provide occasional out of hours support for urgent or emergency repairs.
Essential Skills
- Experienced in a similar role, or have worked in a self-employed capacity in recent years.
- Skilled at DIY & general maintenance.
- Hold a full valid driving licence and willing to travel.
- A working knowledge of health and safety requirements and safe working practices.
