This is an exciting opportunity to join Bradford Council's Keighley Library team providing excellent customer service to local residents, as the council encourages them to use libraries as safe, welcoming spaces where they can use and borrow a range of resources and take part in activities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, professional customer support in person and remotely, helping people use library services.
- Handle day to day library tasks such as registering customers, issuing and returning items, answering enquiries, managing stock and supporting.
- Support the Area Manager by supervising staff and volunteers, ensuring high standards of customer care, maintaining a safe, secure environment.
- Help deliver community activities and events, promote library initiatives, work flexibly across sites, and contribute to training, health and safety.
