Are you an experienced UI/UX Designer with a passion for crafting intuitive, engaging interfaces for mobile casual games?

A leading games studio is looking for a creative and collaborative UI/UX Designer to bring their mobile titles to life through polished, player-centric design. This is a hybrid role, requiring two days per week onsite, with the rest remote.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing user interfaces for mobile casual games including HUDs, menus, overlays, and pop-ups
  • Creating UX flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for game features and systems
  • Working closely with product managers, game designers, and developers to ensure seamless integration
  • Iterating on designs based on feedback, usability testing, and data insights
  • Maintaining consistency in visual style and branding across all UI elements
  • Using AI tools to accelerate production and generate creative ideas or variations
  • Championing a player-first design mindset that prioritises usability and engagement

What we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years of experience designing UI/UX for mobile games, with a strong casual games portfolio
  • Experience creating polished UI and thoughtful user flows in live or released titles
  • Knowledge of systems like in-app purchases (IAP), live events, economies, or player progression
  • Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
  • Working knowledge of Unity
  • Comfortable experimenting with AI tools in the design process
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Based within commutable distance of the studio, with hybrid attendance twice per week
