We’re working with an established, independent game studio known for creating technically ambitious, creatively distinctive games enjoyed by a global audience. They’re looking for an experienced programmer to play a key role in building and maintaining the systems that support large‑scale game development. This role sits at the heart of the development process, working closely with engineers, artists and production to ensure build and deployment pipelines are reliable, scalable and efficient across multiple platforms. You’ll be hands‑on, self‑directed, and comfortable owning complex technical problems from discovery through to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage, optimise and develop features for distributed CI and build systems
- Ensure build processes remain stable, efficient and reliable
- Communicate build issues clearly via internal tools and automated reporting
- Manage code compilation and deployment across multiple platforms
- Maintain and improve source control workflows
- Set up and maintain build and networking hardware
