Our client is an established global technology services organisation that is expanding its specialist AI capabilities across Europe and is looking to appoint an experienced AI Business Development Manager to support the next phase of commercial growth. This is a senior individual contributor role, suited to someone who thrives on opening new markets, developing strategic client relationships and winning complex enterprise opportunities. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in shaping the regional growth strategy while building a strong pipeline of new business across the UK and EMEA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new business acquisition across the UK and EMEA, identifying opportunities within AI, advanced technology and enterprise organisations.
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy focused on sustainable revenue growth and strategic account development.
  • Generate and manage a healthy pipeline through targeted prospecting, networking, market research, industry events and referral channels.
  • Lead consultative sales engagements, understanding customer challenges and designing tailored service solutions that deliver measurable business value.
  • Manage opportunities through the full sales lifecycle, from initial engagement through proposal development, commercial negotiation, contract execution and transition to delivery teams.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior business leaders, technical stakeholders and strategic partners to support long-term account growth.
  • Collaborate with technical, operational and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are commercially viable and aligned with customer objectives.
  • Prepare compelling proposals, commercial models and presentations that clearly articulate value and return on investment.
  • Monitor industry developments, customer demand and competitor activity, providing commercial insight to support future service development.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting and CRM management while consistently achieving revenue objectives.
Candidate ProfileExperience
  • Proven success within enterprise sales, strategic business development or complex B2B solution sales.
  • Experience developing new business within technology, AI, digital services or consulting environments.
  • A strong track record of exceeding commercial targets and managing high-value sales opportunities.
  • Experience building business in emerging markets or launching new service offerings would be highly advantageous.
  • Good understanding of the artificial intelligence ecosystem, including data services, machine learning workflows, model evaluation or related technologies.
