Senior Engine Programmer – AAA Games Studio – Hybrid, UK Games Hub
Skillsearch is partnering with a leading AAA game developer to find a talented Senior Engine Programmer to join their team. This role will work on a custom, proprietary engine and contribute to the development of data pipelines powering the studio’s award-winning titles.
The role involves collaborating closely with the systems engineering team to process and optimise large volumes of data for efficient runtime performance, helping to ensure a seamless experience for players and content creators. The studio is looking for someone with strong technical skills, a passion for systems engineering, and a drive to stay ahead of the curve in technology and game development.
This role is based at the studio’s state-of-the-art facilities in one of the UK’s thriving games development hubs with a hybrid model requiring a minimum of three days per week on site. Relocation support is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Work on the studio’s proprietary engine and develop the data pipelines that convert raw asset data into game-ready content.
- Contribute to systems architecture design and implementation.
