Are you an experienced Senior Cinematic Animator with a passion for storytelling, character performance, and bringing personality to games?
This is an opportunity to join a successful animation department where you will create high-quality cinematics that entertain and engage players, while collaborating with a talented cross-disciplinary team.
What you\’ll be doing:
- Producing high-quality animated character performances with strong posing, timing, and physical mechanics
- Creating expressive facial animations and delivering performances in line with voice-over recordings
- Animating vehicles, props, and non-character actions using appropriate tools such as dynamics simulation
- Bringing humour, charm, and character to cinematic work
- Processing, integrating, and maintaining animations in-engine
- Supporting the lead and director by mentoring junior team members and contributing to the achievement of creative and technical goals
- Assisting with defining pipelines, project responsibilities, and taking ownership of key animation tasks where appropriate
- Collaborating with other departments, providing feedback on assets, and resolving creative or technical issues
- Helping to identify training needs, creating documentation or assets for team development
- Testing and defining new tools and pipelines to support animation development
- Staying up to date with industry advancements and undertaking relevant training
What we\\\’re looking for:
- A collaborative and proactive attitude with excellent communication skills
- Experience in games, film, or related industries, supported by a degree or equivalent professional background
- Strong knowledge of Autodesk Maya or alternative 3D animation software
- Solid understanding of animation principles and techniques and their practical application
- Knowledge of modern game engines and integration workflows
- Demonstrable expertise in at least one area of animation, whether creative (direction, acting, storytelling), technical (Maya, game engine, scripting), or managerial (mentoring, team support)
- Self-motivated, approachable, and resourceful with a commitment to quality and teamwork
