We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join the gaming team on a freelance/contract basis, starting ASAP. The role is based hybrid in London with a minimum duration of 6 months, extendable depending on how the pilot goes.

What you'll be doing:
- Plan and execute test coverage across game features
- Identify risk areas and determine test approach without waiting for explicit requirements
- Write clear, actionable bug reports and qualitative feedback
- Work closely with your internal QA counterpart to align on priorities and share findings
What we're looking for:
- Solid hands-on game testing experience, ideally in mobile F2P
- Strong working knowledge of iOS and Android, including device and OS fragmentation
- Self-directed, able to manage own workload within a demanding release schedule
- Good instincts around game design and player experience, not just surface-level defect spotting
- Clear, concise communicator in writing and in person
- Reliable and composed under pressure
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with farming or casual games
- Experience with TestRail or Jira
- Background as an external contractor or in a vendor QA context
