Are you an experienced Content Merchandising Specialist with a strong background in streaming platforms, data‑informed curation, and cross‑market execution? This role supports content merchandising across two major markets, with a primary focus on U.S. execution and ongoing operational support for the UK. You’ll help drive engagement and discovery through high‑quality in‑app merchandising, working closely with cross‑functional partners while maintaining consistency, performance and editorial standards during a period of platform transition.

About the role

You will contribute to day‑to‑day merchandising execution for a large streaming service, owning U.S. in‑app merchandising while ensuring stability and continuity for the UK market. The role balances creative editorial judgement with data‑driven optimisation, supporting launches, campaigns and library promotion across multiple surfaces. You’ll collaborate with programming, product, marketing and operations teams, and help ensure smooth execution across platforms and tooling.

What you’ll do

  • Own U.S. in‑app merchandising execution, supporting content discovery, engagement and viewership
  • Plan and manage promotions across homepage features, curated rails and genre pages
  • Elevate high‑performing library titles and support priority launches and campaigns
  • Apply performance data, insights and testing learnings to optimise merchandising decisions
  • Maintain editorial quality and consistency across key franchises and content collections
  • Coordinate with adjacent platform teams on shared tentpole content execution
  • Execute business‑as‑usual merchandising for the UK market, ensuring consistent performance
  • Track and report content performance to support optimisation and planning
  • Collaborate with UK stakeholders to align on priorities and execution plans
  • Support merchandising calendars and market‑level planning activities
  • Manage and support platform video channel operations, including updates and troubleshooting

What we’re looking for

Experience

  • 4–6+ years of experience in content merchandising, streaming, digital media or a related field
  • Hands‑on experience executing in‑app merchandising or content curation
  • Experience working across multiple markets or complex stakeholder environments
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, merchandising tools and platform workflows
  • Experience supporting platform video channels or similar environments (a plus)

Skills

  • Strong understanding of data‑informed decision‑making and performance analysis
  • Ability to balance editorial judgement with quantitative insights
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail in high‑volume execution environments
  • Confidence collaborating cross‑functionally with product, programming, marketing and operations teams

Nice to have

  • Experience merchandising across both U.S. and European markets
  • Background supporting platform transitions or organisational change
  • Experience aligning merchandising across shared or syndicated content

Working style / behaviours

  • Highly organised and execution‑focused
  • Comfortable managing parallel priorities across markets
  • Clear communicator with strong stakeholder awareness
  • Adaptable and calm during periods of transition
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented and outcome‑driven

Why join

  • Opportunity to work across two major streaming markets
  • High‑impact role supporting discovery, engagement and platform performance
  • Collaborative, cross‑functional working environment
  • Exposure to large‑scale content operations and platform strategy
  • Role at the centre of editorial, data and operational execution
