We've partnered up with a globally recognised gaming studio, looking for a BD Manager to work on a well-known sports title.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in setting up Brand Partnerships strategy.
- Seek Brand partnership opportunities across all possible domains: in-game/out-of-game sponsorships, global & local deals, etc.
- Identify key decision-makers on the Brands' side and establish contacts with them either via direct outreach or in cooperation with agency partners.
- Ideate creative ways for Brands to enter into the game in an authentic and native way.
- Collaborate internally with Product, Marketing, Publishing, Legal, Game Design teams to verify your ideas and design bespoke & executable Brand Partnership proposals.
- Create & update a top-class sales toolkit for pitch ideas to potential Brand Partners: sales decks, one-pagers, case studies, etc.
- Take ownership of the internal organizational elements to support Brand Partnerships development: JIRA, Confluence, and other internal communication documents.
- Manage dynamic brand placements in-game.
- Keep up with social media and gaming trends; consume content and think about how it could apply to our Partners.
- Must be open to travel once per quarter.
Skills:
- An ideal candidate for this position is a self-organized team player, with a proven track record in sales/partnerships.
- This is a client-facing position, so the ideal candidate should have strong presentation skills, great command of English, and solid business acumen.
- 4+ years experience in B2B sales and/or partnerships. Preferably, in interactive entertainment sphere (experience in football/gaming partnerships will be a strong advantage).
- Proven track record of consistently negotiating & delivering successful deals.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly & concisely - both verbally & via sales tools (decks, one-pagers, emails).
- Strong command of written and spoken English (native or C1/C2 level).
- Solid understanding of best sales practices & frameworks.
- Vast network of contacts on the Brands' side will be an advantage.
- Experience with legal paperwork.
- Solid understanding of real-life football and (football) gaming landscape.
- Solid self-organizational skills, collaborative team player.
- Positive attitude, passionate and respectful.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
