Skillsearch are working with a BAFTA-winning games studio to help them find a game developer to work on a new Roblox project. It is a 3 month contract where you'll be part of the full product cycle from concept to launch with the potential to extend for live-ops.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the team during discovery to identify risks and shape the technical approach
- Build scalable, performant features in Luau using clean, reusable code
- Evaluate design and art for technical feasibility
- Communicate progress, flag blockers, and maintain clear documentation
- Help future-proof development with clear, accessible tech documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Shipped Roblox projects with live ops experience
- Strong Luau + OOP skills and deep knowledge of Roblox Studio, CFrame, UI/UX, and optimization
- Experience with Roblox multiplayer services (e.g. Datastore, MemoryStoreService)
- Comfortable with Git and Rojo in a collaborative team environment
- Good grasp of asset management and optimization
- Great communicator and problem solver
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with promises, maid patterns, or advanced async scripting
- Understanding of the Roblox community and player motivations
