Game Designer

Are you an experienced game designer with a passion for hybrid casual mobile games and rapid prototyping?

This is an opportunity to work remotely on a with a mobile games publisher and developer focused on taking new concepts from early idea through testing and soft launch.

This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys working across multiple concepts, iterating quickly based on player feedback and data, and helping decide which ideas are ready to scale.

About the role…

As a Game Designer focused on hybrid casual titles, you will take ownership of game concepts across various genres, shaping them from prototype to validated product. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define core gameplay, test assumptions, and iterate fast based on performance and player insights.

What you\’ll be doing:

• Lead game design across multiple hybrid casual mobile game concepts
• Define and iterate on core gameplay loops, progression systems, and in-game economies
• Prototype game ideas using Unity and supporting tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Test builds with players and incorporate qualitative feedback
• Analyse early performance data, including KPIs such as retention and engagement
• Make clear, data-informed design decisions on whether to iterate, pivot, or discontinue concepts
• Collaborate remotely with team members across different time zones

What we\’re looking for:

• Proven experience shipping successful hybrid casual or casual mobile games
• Strong end-to-end game design skills across systems, levels, progression, and monetisation
• Hands-on prototyping experience in Unity
• A data-driven mindset with comfort working in fast test-and-learn cycles
• Strong communication skills and experience working fully remotely
• Understanding of the global free-to-play mobile games market, particularly casual and hybrid casual titles

Working setup:

• Fully remote
• Collaboration across time zones, with a preference for availability around GMT+3
