We are looking for an experienced Senior Programmer to join a newly formed Engine Reliability team supporting the development of a large-scale, cross-platform game engine used by multiple live products. This team will focus on improving the safety, speed, and confidence of engine development through better validation systems, automation, infrastructure, and feedback mechanisms.

Working alongside engine development teams, you will help build the foundations that enable faster iteration while maintaining high standards of quality, stability, and performance. As development workflows continue to evolve, ensuring reliability and confidence in shared engine changes becomes increasingly important. The Reliability team will play a key role in creating systems and processes that allow teams to move quickly while minimizing risk to downstream products and end users.

We embrace modern engineering practices, including the thoughtful use of AI-assisted development, automation, and test generation. Success in this environment requires strong technical judgment, a pragmatic mindset, and an ability to balance innovation with reliability.

This role has a strong focus on engine and runtime technologies, including C++, mobile platforms, performance analysis, runtime behaviour, and the challenges of validating shared technology used across multiple products.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, build, and improve automated reliability systems, including validation workflows, regression detection, integration monitoring, and performance analysis.
  • Develop realistic end-to-end validation environments across physical devices and production-like services to identify issues before they impact product teams.
  • Improve the validation of shared engine changes against real-world integrations, reducing manual effort and increasing confidence in releases.
  • Create and maintain tooling, infrastructure, and testing frameworks that support engine and platform teams.
  • Collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines to establish reliability best practices and scalable quality processes.
  • Leverage automation and AI-assisted workflows where appropriate to improve efficiency, coverage, and feedback cycles.
