Are you an experienced Go-to-Market leader who thrives in zero-to-one environments and wants to shape the future of AI-powered video creation? This is a rare opportunity to join an early-stage AI startup building a next-generation video platform designed to democratise creation for gamers, fandom communities, and everyday storytellers. You will take ownership of the entire go-to-market strategy, build a passionate creator community from the ground up, and help establish the product as the go-to tool for gaming fandom and AI video innovation.

What you'll be doing:

  • Defining and leading the complete go-to-market strategy from zero to one, shaping how the product reaches creators, gaming fans, and wider video markets.
  • Identifying and acquiring the first 1,000 highly engaged users through experimentation, audience analysis, and targeted activation.
  • Building and scaling a thriving community across Discord, creator cohorts, early-access programmes, and fan-driven initiatives.
  • Designing narratives, messaging, and positioning that resonate deeply with gamers, creators, and publishers.
  • Running creator-facing campaigns, competitions, and partnerships that drive hype, virality, and platform adoption.
  • Shaping the strategy for gaming partnerships, including identifying publishers, IPs, and fan communities for collaborations and activations.
  • Working closely with product and engineering teams to feed user insights directly into the roadmap and feature development.
  • Establishing trust and long-term relationships with creators, streamers, and fandom communities.
  • Driving experiments across channels such as Twitch, YouTube, Steam, Discord, and more, iterating rapidly to find scalable growth paths.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience operating in zero-to-one environments and building products, platforms, or communities from scratch.
  • Deep understanding of gaming culture, fandom, and the platforms where gaming communities live (Twitch, YouTube, Steam, Discord, etc.).
  • A strong storyteller who can translate complex AI technology into compelling narratives and creator-friendly language.
  • Proven experience building and energising communities, including running Discords, cohorts, or early-access programmes.
  • Strong instincts for virality, creators, and what motivates people to share, co-create, and champion a new tool.
  • Empathy for creator workflows, motivations, and the trust-building required to support them effectively.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, running fast experimentation loops, and iterating based on rapid learning.
  • A founder-like mindset: proactive, resourceful, decisive, and driven by ownership rather than playbooks.
