Are you a client-facing sales professional with deep experience in voice recording and a strong understanding of the games industry?

A leading studio is looking for a skilled sales professional to help expand its presence in the domestic and international video game market. You’ll be responsible for providing high-quality voice recording services to clients across gaming and related industries, managing everything from client engagement to project delivery.

This is a full-time, client-facing role ideal for someone who understands the production pipeline, thrives in a creative and tech-driven environment, and is confident managing complex sales cycles from initial contact through to successful deal closure.

What you’ll be doing

  • Conducting market research to track customer trends, competitor activity, and technological advancements in the global voice recording space

  • Developing promotional strategies tailored to specific services or client segments

  • Identifying and engaging potential customers across gaming and other creative industries

  • Leading client meetings to understand service requirements and develop tailored proposals

  • Managing proposal activities including presentations, pricing, and final negotiation

  • Expanding focus beyond Japanese game studios to international opportunities and adjacent markets

  • Collaborating with internal teams (both domestic and global) to shape service offerings based on client needs

  • Supporting new business initiatives through feasibility studies, market research, and planning new service launches

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, production, or client-facing roles within the voice recording or audio production industry

  • Fluent Japanese communication skills, with the ability to lead projects independently from outreach to deal closure

  • Understanding of CRM systems and working knowledge of tools such as Word and Excel

  • Strong sense of responsibility and proactiveness in budget and project management

  • Passion for games and entertainment content

Preferred qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of the games industry or experience selling into entertainment sectors

  • Existing network of industry contacts within gaming or media

  • Experience leading or coordinating a team

  • Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC 750+)

The ideal candidate

  • Native-level Japanese speaker with excellent client communication and presentation skills

  • Comfortable navigating both creative and technical discussions with clients
