Are you an Animator Generalist with a passion for bringing stylised combat and cinematic action to life?
This is an opportunity to join a small, senior-led team working on a new multiplayer brawler, where martial arts collides with elemental magic. You will play a key role in shaping the style, impact, and moment-to-moment flow of a brand-new IP built for competitive intensity and over-the-top spectacle.
What you’ll be doing
- Animating stylised combat moves, traversal, and cinematic sequences for a fast-paced multiplayer brawler
- Working directly in Unreal Engine 5 with Control Rig and Animation Blueprints to implement and test animations
- Ensuring smooth transitions, weight, and clarity in high-speed multiplayer combat
- Collaborating with designers and VFX teams to align timing, impact, and visual readability
- Iterating on animations based on playtest feedback to refine responsiveness and style
What we\\\’re looking for
- 2+ years of professional experience as an animator in games (indie, AA, or AAA)
- Strong proficiency in Maya or Blender and Unreal Engine 5’s animation systems (Control Rig, State Machines, Blendspaces)
- A portfolio showcasing expressive combat or action-focused animations
- Solid understanding of timing, anticipation, and exaggeration in stylised animation
- Bonus: Experience with multiplayer or fighting game animation workflows
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to adapt and iterate quickly
