Senior Audio Programmer
We are working with a highly rated AAA UK games studio who are seeking an experienced Senior Audio Programmer to join our Game Technology team on a 12-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge projects in a collaborative and creative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Game Technology, Design, and Audio teams to integrate audio hooks and systems into game features.
- Work closely with audio designers to implement data-driven systems that connect Wwise functionality to audio technical features.
- Identify, propose, and implement workflow changes that streamline audio integration.
Requirements
- Proven experience implementing audio systems and hooks (ideally for Wwise) across a wide range of features in commercially released game(s), preferably AAA titles.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++, with the ability to write readable and maintainable code.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, pragmatic, and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
