JDE Functional Consultant – Finance Module (Banking)

Job Overview:
The JDE Functional Consultant will play a crucial role in supporting a banking client by leveraging their expertise in JD Edwards (JDE) Finance Module. This role requires a seasoned consultant with 10-15+ years of experience to work closely with stakeholders, gather and analyze business requirements, and ensure seamless alignment between JDE functionality and financial processes.
This position involves direct client engagement, requiring strong communication skills to effectively translate business needs into system solutions. The consultant will be expected to work in a hybrid model, spending three days per week on-site in London.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand, document, and analyze financial requirements.
- Conduct workshops and discussions to define system needs and process improvements.
- Ensure that gathered requirements are clear, comprehensive, and aligned with JDE Finance module capabilities.
2. Functional Solution Design & Consolidation
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for JDE implementation and enhancements.
- Assess and recommend best practices in financial processes within a JDE environment.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure proper configuration and integration.
3. Client Interaction & Communication
- Act as a key liaison between business users and the technical team.
- Present findings, recommendations, and functional designs to stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth communication and alignment between project teams and business units.
4. Hybrid Work Model & On-Site Collaboration
- Be available for on-site meetings in London (3 days per week) to engage with stakeholders.
- Support remote work coordination to maintain project progress.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10-15+ years of experience as a JDE Functional Consultant, specializing in the Finance Module.
- Strong understanding of financial processes within the banking sector.
- Proven expertise in requirement gathering, elaboration, and consolidation.
- Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to work within a hybrid environment and collaborate effectively with remote and on-site teams.
