We are looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Network Engineer to join a growing technology team working on secure, large-scale cloud environments. This permanent role will focus on delivering reliable, scalable and secure Azure network infrastructure across hybrid platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Azure networking solutions including VNets, VPN Gateways, NSGs, Azure Firewall and WAF
- Support hub-and-spoke topologies and hybrid connectivity
- Monitor and optimise network performance across cloud and on-premise environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues quickly and effectively
- Automate network configuration using Terraform, PowerShell and Azure CLI
- Maintain observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Network Watcher
- Ensure deployments align with security and compliance standards
- Produce technical documentation and support knowledge sharing
Required Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure networking and cloud infrastructure
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and firewall principles
- Experience with Azure networking services such as Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Network Watcher, Firewall and WAF
- Practical experience with Terraform, Azure CLI and PowerShell
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Current and valid SC Clearance is essential
Preferred:
- Azure Network Engineer certification
- Experience with Zscaler, Okta or CI/CD practices
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools
