You’ll be at the centre of our apprentice talent pipeline - ensuring every apprentice and employer partner experiences a seamless, high-quality journey. You’ll lead from the front, balancing strategy with hands‑on delivery, and play a key role in driving growth across the business.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Lead & Inspire
    • Manage and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Managers and Onboarding Executives
    • Set clear goals, drive performance, and build a high‑performing culture
    • Coach, mentor, and support your team to succeed
  • Own the Talent Journey
    • Oversee apprentice recruitment pipelines aligned to employer demand
    • Ensure candidates are effectively sourced, assessed, and matched
    • Deliver a smooth, engaging onboarding experience from offer to enrolment
  • Champion Quality & Compliance
    • Ensure full compliance with apprenticeship funding rules and DfE requirements
    • Maintain audit‑ready processes and documentation at all times
    • Deliver consistent, high‑quality Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG)
  • Improve & Innovate
    • Analyse data and KPIs to optimise performance
    • Streamline processes to improve efficiency and scalability
    • Enhance candidate and employer satisfaction at every stage
  • Stay Hands‑On
    • Manage your own caseload across recruitment and onboarding
    • Step in during peak periods to support delivery

What We’re Looking For

You’re a natural leader who combines commercial awareness with a passion for people and process. You’ll bring:

  • Experience in recruitment, onboarding, or talent delivery
  • Strong understanding of compliance‑driven environments (ideally apprenticeships)
  • Proven ability to lead or step into leadership roles
  • Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills
  • Confidence working with data, KPIs, and systems (CRM/ATS)
  • A proactive, hands‑on approach with a “player‑manager” mindset

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in apprenticeships or funded learning
  • Knowledge of DfE funding rules
  • Background in the Fire & Security sector
