The Role:
As a Laboratory Technician Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced laboratory professionals to support the day-to-day operation of the laboratory. You will learn how to safely prepare samples, carry out routine testing, maintain equipment, and accurately record results, all while working towards your Level 3 Laboratory Technician qualification. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in science, testing, or laboratory work who is keen to learn and develop technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation, handling, and processing of samples
- Carry out routine laboratory tests under supervision
- Accurately record test results and laboratory data
- Support the maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Follow laboratory procedures, health & safety regulations, and quality standards
- Assist with stock control and laboratory organisation
- Work collaboratively with laboratory technicians and senior staff
- Develop practical and theoretical knowledge alongside apprenticeship training
What We Are Looking For:
