Working Week: Shift patterns are Monday - Friday 05:00 - 14:00 and Sunday - Thursday, 13:00 - 22:00 on rotation. There is a free taxi service from Newcastle centre; however you must be able to commit to the shift times.

Qualifications Required: Must hold GCSE grade 4 or above in both Maths and English GCSEs. Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.
Personal Qualities: A keen interest in Pharmaceutical Industry (Aseptic/QC/Laboratory).
Skills Required: Training to be Provided Science Manufacturing Technician Level 3.
Future Prospects: Upon successful completion of this 22-month apprenticeship there is potential for progression into Compounding and Release, supporting your continued development and career growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Aseptic Manufacturing & Support Operations: Set up raw materials, containers, and equipment required for aseptic manufacturing, following GMP documentation and customer priorities. Perform routine and thorough cleaning and decontamination of cleanroom areas according to daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules. Perform transfer sanitization on raw materials and consumables.
- Quality Control & Compliance: Conduct visual inspection of finished products in line with product quality standards. Carry out environmental monitoring and report deviations in accordance with SOPs. Perform quality control checks on materials and products, ensuring they meet specifications and are released appropriately.
To be successful in this role:
- English and Mathematics GCSE grades A-C (or equivalent).
- A keen interest in Pharmaceutical Industry (Aseptic/QC/Laboratory).
- High level of attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- High computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office.
