The Role:
As a Laboratory Technician Apprentice, you will support laboratory operations by assisting with sample preparation, routine testing, data recording, and equipment maintenance. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the receipt, preparation, and processing of laboratory samples.
- Carry out routine laboratory testing under supervision.
- Accurately record results and maintain laboratory documentation.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality systems.
- Adhere to strict health & safety and compliance requirements.
- Support the cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Assist with stock control and laboratory organisation.
- Work effectively as part of a laboratory team.
- Develop technical knowledge through hands‑on experience and formal training.
