The Role
You’ll be responsible for winning new business by promoting our onsite NVQ assessment programmes and wider construction training portfolio to commercial organisations throughout the UK. Working with senior decision-makers, you’ll demonstrate how our solutions help businesses improve workforce competence, remain compliant, access available funding and invest in their people.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities across the construction and built environment sectors.
- Sell Level 2–7 Construction NVQs and associated training programmes.
- Build relationships with Managing Directors, Operations Directors, Commercial Directors, HR Managers, Training Managers and Learning & Development teams.
- Develop your own pipeline through networking, referrals, LinkedIn, outbound activity and industry events.
- Prepare quotations and client proposals.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline using our CRM.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Work closely with our Operations and Assessment teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional training and compliance services.
We’re looking for someone who can confidently discuss vocational qualifications with clients and recommend the most appropriate learning pathways. You will have:
- A strong understanding of Construction NVQs, qualification structures and learner pathways.
- Experience selling NVQs, construction training or workforce development solutions.
- A solid understanding of the construction industry and its workforce.
- Proven B2B sales and business development experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- The ability to build long‑term relationships with senior decision-makers.
- A proactive, target‑driven and self‑motivated approach.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Knowledge of CITB Grants and funding.
- Existing network and experience of working within the construction sector.
