Job Description:

Skills Provision is on the hunt for highly skilled Power Line Technicians for a prestigious organisation in the United Kingdom.

Working Hours

Vary between 9 and 10 hours per day.

The Role

  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety.
  • Undertake work as a Power Line Technician in a safe and disciplined manner.
  • Carry out rigging tasks.
  • Carry out blocking and suspension work.
  • Carry out jumpering and earthing tasks.
  • Be capable of reading schematics.
  • Hardworking attitude.
  • Keen and conscientious.
  • Have a strong team ethos.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Power Line Technician or a related appointment.
  • Other formal relevant qualifications would be desirable.
  • Construction and maintenance of HV Transmission Lines, above 110KV.
  • Puller/tensioner, erection or tractor winch operator experience, desirable.
  • Hold a valid car license (conversion assistance given).

  • Pass UKVI IELTS
  • Provide proof of English language proficiency.
  • Obtain a clear Tuberculosis test (for certain countries).
