Job Description:
Skills Provision is searching for a Commissioning Manager for a reputable Building Services organisation.
The company provides support to clients across a diverse range of sectors, encompassing multiple construction-related disciplines. Renowned for its innovation, efficiency, and commitment to sustainability, it is recognised as a leader within the industry.
A solid grasp of both mechanical and electrical systems is essential for this role.
Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates, where required.
Duration: Permanent
Location: Oxford, United Kingdom
£70,000 to £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Role Responsibilities
Reporting to the Lead Commissioning Manager, duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Assume overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) commissioning activities across the project(s).
- Oversee and manage specialist subcontractors involved in the commissioning process.
- Provide regular progress reports and attend meetings.
- Engage with the client and their representatives in a professional and constructive manner.
- Review and approve clear and concise commissioning method statements.
- Attend on-site testing activities and produce detailed reports on outcomes.
- Monitor and provide feedback on the quality of M&E installations throughout the installation phase.
- Liaise effectively with utility providers as required.
- Oversee and manage water treatment processes in accordance with project requirements.
- Review and comment on service designs, with specific reference to your technical discipline.
- Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, professional teams, and your line manager.
Requirements
Education:
- Industry recognised degree qualification in Mechanical and/or Electrical installation/engineering.
Skills and experience:
- 3 years of experience as a Commissioning Manager.
- Experience in the commissioning of Domestic and Commercial systems.
- Ability to understand system complexities to ensure the correct resource and development areas are allocated accordingly.
- Able to manage progress against various deliverables.
- Highly results-oriented, with a strong commitment to achieving personal objectives and meeting set deadlines.
- Demonstrates the ability to perform effectively under pressure and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes.
- A full driving license (international applicants will be supported with conversion).
