Job Description:
Skills Provision is searching for qualified Automotive Electricians for an established company in Northern Ireland.
The employing organisation is a leading supplier of airport ground support equipment.
Visa sponsorship is available for successful overseas applicants.
Location: Northern Ireland
Length: Permanent
- Visa sponsorship for applicants outside of the United Kingdom
- Accommodation support
- Health plan
- Life insurance
- 30 days holiday
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30-16:30
- Friday: 07:30-12:30
- Overtime is 1.5 x normal rate (payable after 41.5 hours)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, modify and fault find customed vehicle-mounted electrical harnesses
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Follow instructions from the production manager
- Work in line with ISO 9001 quality management system
- Valid car driving license
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role- within the engineering industry
- Familiar with electric and hybrid maintenance
- Understand electronics, with the ability to add additional wiring covertly
- Valid driving UK driving license/International driving permit- If needed conversion assistance will be given
- Degree/Technical Qualification
- A Level or equivalent (Electrical Apprenticeship)
- Electrical Certification in 18th Edition or equivalent
Additional:
If applying from outside of Northern Ireland, applicants will need to meet the requirements for the Skilled Worker Visa, this includes meeting the minimum 4.0 IELTS score.
