Job Description:

Skills Provision is searching for qualified Automotive Electricians for an established company in Northern Ireland.

The employing organisation is a leading supplier of airport ground support equipment.

Visa sponsorship is available for successful overseas applicants.

Location: Northern Ireland

Length: Permanent

  • Visa sponsorship for applicants outside of the United Kingdom
  • Accommodation support
  • Health plan
  • Life insurance
  • 30 days holiday

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:30-16:30
  • Friday: 07:30-12:30
  • Overtime is 1.5 x normal rate (payable after 41.5 hours)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install, modify and fault find customed vehicle-mounted electrical harnesses
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Follow instructions from the production manager
  • Work in line with ISO 9001 quality management system
  • Valid car driving license

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role- within the engineering industry
  • Familiar with electric and hybrid maintenance
  • Understand electronics, with the ability to add additional wiring covertly
  • Valid driving UK driving license/International driving permit- If needed conversion assistance will be given
  • Degree/Technical Qualification
  • A Level or equivalent (Electrical Apprenticeship)
  • Electrical Certification in 18th Edition or equivalent

Additional:

If applying from outside of Northern Ireland, applicants will need to meet the requirements for the Skilled Worker Visa, this includes meeting the minimum 4.0 IELTS score.
