Job Description

As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems:

  • Access Control
  • Video Surveillance
  • Intruder Alarms
  • Fire Alarms
  • Entry Requirements
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
  • Pass an Enhanced DBS check
  • Happy to travel where required
  • Prior experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Electrical Installation Level 2/3 is advantageous but not essential
  • Please note that the wage will be dependant on experience
  • Must be able to pass a medical check due to site restrictions
  • Knowledge of fire extinguishers is advantageous
  • Training to be Provided

Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.

You'll train through block release at our Watford/Dagenham center, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday-Friday).

You'll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.
