They are now looking to recruit a brand new fire and security engineer to join their Paddington team.
Job Description
As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems:
- Access Control
- Video Surveillance
- Intruder Alarms
- Fire Alarms
Entry Requirements
- 18+ due to company insurance requirements
- Have a full UK driving license, or be actively working towards getting one and live locally
- Electrical background desirable
- Comfortable working at height, due to the nature of the role
- Interest in learning more about the wider fire and security industry
- Excellent customer service and teamworking skills
Training to be Provided
This is where you'll learn the skills that employers actually want.
Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.
You’ll train through block release at our Dagenham or Watford centre (depending on which is closer to you), for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).
You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.

- Complete a wide range of tasks and projects
- Build evidence from your job to support your learning
- Sit annual assessments at the centre
