Skills for Care is the strategic workforce development and planning body for adult social care (ASC) in England. We work with employers, Government and partners to ensure social care has the right people, skills and support required to deliver the highest quality care and support now and in the future. Skills for Care is pursuing an ambitious new corporate strategy for 2025–2030, to drive positive change across the adult social care workforce in support of the Workforce Strategy for Adult Social Care in England.

We are looking for an experienced research and impact professional to capture the effectiveness and impact of our work and ensure that everything we do is evidence-led. The role will sit within our Research and Impact Team, which provides research and evaluation expertise and delivers key insights across our areas of work, helping us to design and deliver effective support to the sector and understand our impact. This role will play a central role in taking forwards our impact and evaluation frameworks.

The successful candidate will be a champion for evidence-led working, committed to generating high quality, compelling research and evaluation to underpin our products and services, and facilitate a culture of innovation and learning. Along with strong quantitative and qualitative research and evaluation skills, you will need to be a skilled and confident collaborator, able to work across internal teams and with funders and partners to drive forward our research agenda and evaluation activities.
