This is a full time salaried position for a tutor/assessor of Personal Training qualifications in Liverpool (HMP Altcourse).

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and assess recognised health and fitness qualifications in Gym Instruction and Personal Training in line with company and awarding body standards.
  • Ensure learners are supported towards the achievement of the programme, factoring in additional learning needs and range of abilities.
  • Liaise with the IQA (Internal Quality Assurer) to ensure quality of product and sufficiency of assessment decisions.

Requirements:

  • Hold recognised Personal Training qualification to a minimum Level 3.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years' experience of working as a personal trainer and 12 months experience in delivering and assessing health and fitness qualifications.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively educate and instruct clients.
  • Hold recognised assessors and teaching qualifications.
  • Hold enhanced DBS or prison clearance.
