We are representing a pioneering medical device company, who are looking to strengthen their quality operations in Oxford. They are seeking a detail-driven quality professional to own incoming inspection for their flagship product line.

This is a key operational role for someone with a strong background in medical device inspection who is looking to take ownership of a critical quality function and make a direct impact on patient outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Perform incoming goods inspections and quality release of finished medical devices
  • Execute inspection protocols, technical tests, and visual inspections to specification
  • Raise and support investigations into non-conformances
  • Maintain traceability of incoming goods through SAP, visual management and quarantine
  • Create, maintain and improve SOPs, work instructions and related documents
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert and support external audits (BSI, FDA, etc.)
What We're Looking For
  • Degree in bioscience, engineering or a related field
  • Prior experience in incoming inspection within a life sciences environment.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP / GMP compliance requirements
  • Confident reading drawings and specifications, and using measurement tools
  • Familiarity with SAP
