I am supporting an established cardiovascular company advancing next generation structural heart therapies that aim to improve long term outcomes for patients with complex valve issues. As Director of Quality Assurance and Operations, you will guide the quality strategy and operational performance for the structural heart portfolio. You will oversee the quality management system, ensure alignment with UK and international regulatory expectations and lead continuous improvement across production, supplier oversight and product lifecycle activities. The role is highly visible, partnering closely with R&D, regulatory and clinical teams to secure reliable product delivery and support sustained growth.
Qualifications
- Senior leadership experience in medical device Quality Assurance and Operations
- Strong background in structural heart or cardiovascular implants
- Expertise with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, EU MDR and relevant UK regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated success managing manufacturing partners, suppliers and operational systems
- Clear communication with influential cross functional leadership skills
