We are working with a high-growth surgical robotics company seeking an experienced capital sales professional to drive new business across the Northwest of England. This business is at an exciting stage of its UK expansion and is looking for a driven, commercially sharp individual to make an immediate impact across key NHS accounts in the region.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven capital equipment specialist to join a team of top-tier medical device professionals with strong earning potential and long-term progression in a fast-moving environment.
As Capital Sales Representative you will own the full sales cycle for high-value capital equipment across NHS hospitals and surgical centres in the Northwest. You will be expected to operate with autonomy from the outset, manage a complex sales pipeline, and consistently deliver against ambitious targets. You will report into senior regional leadership and will be central to driving growth in one of the company's key UK territories.
Key responsibilities:- Drive new capital equipment sales across NHS trusts and surgical centres in Manchester, Liverpool, Chester and Lancashire
- Manage and develop complex, multi-stakeholder hospital procurement processes from initial contact through to close
- Build and maintain strong relationships with surgical KOLs, procurement teams, and clinical decision-makers
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking activity, forecasting accurately, and reporting on market intelligence and competitor activity
- Collaborate closely with clinical and utilisation colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience post-sale
- Plan and execute targeted account activities, presentations and events to accelerate pipeline
- Proven capital equipment sales track record, prior capital experience is essential; first-timers in capital will not be considered
- Minimum 3 years of high-level medical device sales, ideally in surgical robotics, large capital imaging (MRI/ultrasound), or equivalent high-value capital equipment
- Demonstrable success managing deals of £300k+ in value preferred
- Strong NHS relationships and existing network of hospital/surgical contacts across the Northwest — urology background is not required
- Highly motivated, autonomous and proactive — this is a fast-paced, high-expectation culture and you must thrive in that environment
- Based in or able to cover the Northwest territory (Manchester / Liverpool / Chester / Lancashire)
- Comfortable with flexible territory boundaries this is a high-growth business and the landscape will continue to evolve
