Skills Alliance is a high-growth, global Recruitment and Executive Search firm specialising in Life Sciences, Industrials and wider STEM.

After an exceptional performance across all our global offices this year, we are now looking to expand our office in London. This role would suit someone who has worked in a transferable industry and wants to transition into recruitment.

To date we count many of the leading Biotech, Pharma, Medical Devices and Med Tech companies as our partners, and are now looking for Trainees who want to work directly with clients like this.

Start date: Jan/Feb 2026

Location: London

What does this role involve?

  • Discover and headhunt high‑calibre candidates for mid‑senior level and retained roles.
  • Business Development and forging relationships with clients across your market globally. This is a client facing role with a lot of autonomy. You will be responsible for bringing in and attracting clients, as well as managing accounts once they are onboarded.
  • Manage the whole candidate journey, from screening and interviewing candidates to interview feedback, negotiating offers and delivering the news.
  • Become the go‑to expert in your market.

  • Experience in a transferable role, for example sales, is highly desirable.
  • No university degree or similar higher education is required.
