About the Company

We’re currently working with a growing commodity / chemical distribution business to hire a Senior Operator to join their expanding operations team.

About the Role

This is a high-impact role where you’ll sit at the center of the business, managing the end-to-end execution of trades and logistics while working closely with traders, finance and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and trade execution
  • Coordinate deliveries across the full supply chain
  • Manage contracts (purchase & sales) and ensure accurate execution
  • Work with finance on LCs, credit, and trade documentation
  • Handle complex operational issues (logistics, delays, claims, etc.)
  • Input and manage data across systems (ERP / CTRM)

Qualifications

  • Background in supply chain / logistics / distribution
  • Experience with contracts, trade execution or operations
  • Strong understanding of Incoterms and shipping processes
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, commercial environment
