A leading global pharmaceutical company is seeking a Director/Senior Director of Market Access to lead and shape its UK access strategy across a high-value, innovative portfolio. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for defining and executing market access strategy, ensuring optimal pricing, reimbursement, and patient access across the UK. You will lead payer engagement and work cross-functionally with Commercial, Medical, and Global teams to drive successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the UK market access strategy across the portfolio
- Lead payer engagement with key stakeholders including NICE and other HTA bodies
- Drive pricing and reimbursement strategies for high-cost, innovative therapies
- Optimise market access pathways to maximise patient access and commercial success
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, Global)
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing market access team
Key Requirements
- Extensive experience in Market Access within the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong track record of successful NICE submissions
- Deep expertise in pricing and reimbursement, particularly for high-cost products
- Proven success in securing pricing and reimbursement for innovative therapies
- Experience at a regional or global level is highly desirable
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capability
