Responsibilities:
- Carries out the routine testing requirements.
- Records and archives test data generated.
- Routinely reports testing and highlights any problems or unusual variations, and reports out of specification results to the relevant people.
- Ensures where possible 'Work Requests' are carried out as required.
- Develops and continuously reviews new and existing Laboratory procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring that internal and external Health, Safety & Environmental standards are met in terms of both work performance and behaviour.
- Ensures the Laboratory is a safe place to work in or visit, and that high housekeeping standards are maintained.
- Once trained on specific tasks, the role will involve working under your own initiative at times.
- Working on all aspects of the laboratory function.
