Location: Leeds, UK (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

We’re looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join a growing engineering team and play a key role in building and optimising scalable cloud-based platforms.

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable platform solutions
  • Monitor, manage, and optimise cloud infrastructure on AWS
  • Contribute to engineering strategy and collaborate with Architecture teams
  • Document processes, procedures, and infrastructure improvements
  • Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines for secure and efficient deployments
  • Work closely with development teams to support system deployment and operations

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience as a Senior Platform Engineer
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles
  • Hands-on experience with scripting and pipeline automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
  • Experience collaborating with development and infrastructure teams
  • Strong focus on automation and improving delivery pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with CloudFormation (scripting & troubleshooting)
  • Working knowledge of Chef
  • Proficiency in Python scripting
  • Experience with Jenkins pipelines (multibranch, Groovy scripting)
  • Strong Linux command-line skills and troubleshooting web services
  • Experience with AWS services such as EC2, NLB, API Gateway, ASG
