We’re looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join a growing engineering team and play a key role in building and optimising scalable cloud-based platforms.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable platform solutions
- Monitor, manage, and optimise cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Contribute to engineering strategy and collaborate with Architecture teams
- Document processes, procedures, and infrastructure improvements
- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines for secure and efficient deployments
- Work closely with development teams to support system deployment and operations
Required Skills:
- Strong experience as a Senior Platform Engineer
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles
- Hands-on experience with scripting and pipeline automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Experience collaborating with development and infrastructure teams
- Strong focus on automation and improving delivery pipelines
- Hands-on experience with CloudFormation (scripting & troubleshooting)
- Working knowledge of Chef
- Proficiency in Python scripting
- Experience with Jenkins pipelines (multibranch, Groovy scripting)
- Strong Linux command-line skills and troubleshooting web services
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, NLB, API Gateway, ASG
