Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Senior Registered Forensic Psychologist to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Senior Registered Forensic Psychologist who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
As the Senior Registered Forensic Psychologist, you will help shape psychological services, support rehabilitation, and contribute to the development of a positive, evidence-based culture focused on improving outcomes.
The Senior Registered Forensic Psychologist will be responsible for
- Conduct high-quality psychological and risk assessments, prepare reports for Parole Board hearings, and act as an expert witness when required.
- Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions and provide specialist consultancy to teams across Safer Custody, Violence Reduction, Reducing Reoffending, and Offender Management functions.
- Support the development and governance of psychological services, ensuring compliance with HCPC, HMPPS, contractual, and organisational standards.
- Provide supervision, oversight, and professional support to Forensic Psychologists in Training and intervention delivery teams.
- Develop and deliver staff training, contribute to research initiatives, and promote best practice in rehabilitation, behaviour change, reducing reoffending, and staff wellbeing.
To be successful in this role, you must have
- Doctoral-level qualification in Forensic Psychology.
- Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience completing psychological and risk assessments including HCR-20, RSVP, SARA, WAIS, or similar assessment tools.
- Experience producing formal psychological risk assessment reports and acting as an expert witness in parole or equivalent hearings.
- Experience delivering psychological interventions, providing consultancy to stakeholders, supervising professionals, and conducting research within forensic or offender settings.
